40 Years of Quality, Innovation & Family
Keven’s Landscape began in 1987 when Keven Pauling, then workfing at a local plant nursery in Arizona’s West Valley, saw an opportunity. The nursery sold plants but didn’t install them, so Keven began planting trees and shrubs for customers after hours and on weekends.What started as a side hustle quickly grew. Before long, Keven was earning more landscaping on the weekends than he was during a full week at the nursery. In 1987, he took the leap and Keven’s Landscape was born.
From a truck and a home-based operation, the company has grown into one of the Valley’s premier landscape design-build firms, operating today from a three-acre facility in El Mirage, Arizona. Through that growth, one philosophy has remained constant: deliver exceptional work and treat people with genuine respect.
The Second Generation
Around 2010, Keven’s son, Justin Pauling, joined the family business, starting at the ground level. He delivered materials, unloaded pavers and travertine, cleaned job sites, and handled whatever needed to be done.
Over time, Justin took on responsibility for purchasing, construction, and maintenance, gaining hands-on experience across nearly every part of the company.
After approximately 14 years working alongside his father, Justin approached Keven about continuing the family business. On January 1, 2025, Justin formally took over Keven’s Landscape, beginning its second generation.
Today, the company continues to build on the foundation Keven established nearly 40 years ago by creating distinctive outdoor environments, pushing the boundaries of landscape design, and delivering craftsmanship our customers and builder partners can depend on.

Kevens Landscape offers a two-year workmanship warranty on hardscape installations from the date of completion. Irrigation systems and landscape lighting include a one-year warranty covering labor and materials. Warranty coverage excludes damage caused by misuse, accidents, or natural events.
